     David Vladimirovich Soskice was born on 27 March 1866 at Berdichev, Ukraine.1 He was the son of Wolf Soskis and Bassia Liuba (?)1 He married, firstly, Anna Sofia Johansen on 1 November 1899.1 He and Anna Sofia Johansen were divorced in August 1902.1 He married, secondly, Juliet Catherine Emma Hueffer, daughter of Dr. Francis Hueffer and Catherine Madox-Brown, on 20 September 1902.1 He died in 1941.1
     He was a journalist.1 Between 1890 and 1893 he was arrested for revolutionary ativities and imprisoned for three years.1 He emigrated to England arriving on 1898.1

He died on 25 February 1998 at age 92 at King Edward VII Hospital, Easebourne, Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1
