     Rev. Hon. Walter Robert Verney was born on 18 March 1846.1 He was the son of Robert John Verney, 17th Lord Willoughby de Broke and Georgiana Jane Taylor.1 He married Elizabeth Georgina Bird, daughter of Major Robert Wilberforce Bird, on 5 June 1879.1 He died on 20 October 1912 at age 66.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Rector at Lighthorne, Warwickshire, England.1 He was Vicar at Chesterton, Warwickshire, England.1

     Lady Louisa North was the daughter of Francis North, 1st Earl of Guilford and Elizabeth Kaye.1 She married John Peyto-Verney, 14th Lord Willoughby de Broke, son of John Verney and Abigail Harley, on 8 October 1761.2 She died on 2 April 1798.1
     From 8 October 1761, her married name became Peyto-Verney.2

     Francis North, 1st Earl of Guilford was born on 13 April 1704.1 He was the son of Francis North, 2nd Baron Guilford and Alicia Brownlow.2,3 He married, firstly, Lady Lucy Montague, daughter of George Montague, 1st Earl of Halifax and Ricarda Postuma Saltonstall, on 17 June 1728.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Kaye, daughter of Sir Arthur Kaye, 3rd Bt. and Anne Marowe, on 24 January 1736.3 He married, thirdly, Catherine Furnese, daughter of Sir Robert Furnese, 2nd Bt. and Arabella Watson, on 13 June 1751.3 He died on 4 August 1790 at age 86 at Henrietta Street, London, EnglandG.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) Banbury in 1727.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Banbury between 1727 and 1729.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Guilford, co. Surrey [E., 1683] on 17 October 1729.3 He held the office of Lord of the Bedchamber to Frederick, Prince of Wales between 1730 and 1751.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baron North [E., 1554] on 31 October 1735.2 He was Governor of George, Prince of Wales from 1750 to 1751.2 He was created 1st Earl of Guilford [Great Britain] on 8 April 1752.2 He was Treasurer to Queen Charlotte between 1773 and 1790.2

William Howard, 3rd Earl of Wicklow1

     William Howard, 3rd Earl of Wicklow was born circa 1758. He was the son of Ralph Howard, 1st Viscount Wicklow and Alice Forward, Countess of Wicklow.1 He married Eleanor Caulfeild, daughter of Hon. Francis Caulfeild and Hon. Mary Eyre, on 31 March 1787.2 He died on 27 September 1818.1
     On 21 November 1780 his name was legally changed to William Forward on inheriting the estate of his maternal relatives.1 In 1789 his name was legally changed to William Howard by Royal Licence.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Wicklow, of co. Wicklow [I., 1785] on 26 June 1789.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Wicklow [I., 1793] on 26 June 1789.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Clonmore, of Clonmore Castle, co. Carlow [I., 1776] on 26 June 1789.1

     Sarah Hamilton was the daughter of Charles Hamilton and Marianne Caroline TIghe.2 She married Rev. Hon. Francis Howard, son of William Howard, 3rd Earl of Wicklow and Eleanor Caulfeild, on 21 June 1836.1 She died on 13 March 1892.1
     Her married name became Howard.

She was the daughter of Sidney Herbert, 14th Earl of Pembroke and Lady Beatrix Louisa Lambton.1 She married, firstly, Major Sir Nevile Rodwell Wilkinson on 29 April 1903.1 She married, secondly, Ralph Francis Forward-Howard, 7th Earl of Wicklow, son of Cecil Ralph Howard, 6th Earl of Wicklow and Francesca Maria Chamberlayne, on 5 March 1942.1 She died on 3 December 1957.1
     From 29 April 1903, her married name became Wilkinson. After her marriage, Lady Beatrix Frances Gertrude Herbert was styled as Countess of Wicklow on 5 March 1942. From 5 March 1942, her married name became Forward-Howard.

     Major Sir Nevile Rodwell Wilkinson married Lady Beatrix Frances Gertrude Herbert, daughter of Sidney Herbert, 14th Earl of Pembroke and Lady Beatrix Louisa Lambton, on 29 April 1903.1 He died on 22 December 1940.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He held the office of Ulster King of Arms.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1

     William Cecil James Philip John Paul Howard, 8th Earl of Wicklow was born on 30 October 1902.1 He was the son of Ralph Francis Forward-Howard, 7th Earl of Wicklow and Lady Gladys Mary Hamilton.2 He married Eleanor Butler, daughter of Rudolph M. Butler, on 2 September 1959.1 He died on 8 February 1978 at age 75.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1925 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was editor of Dublin Review between 1937 and 1940.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.1 He wrote the book Pope Pius XI and World Peace.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Wicklow [I., 1793] on 11 October 1946.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Wicklow, of co. Wicklow [I., 1785] on 11 October 1946.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Clonmore, of Clonmore Castle, co. Carlow [I., 1776] on 11 October 1946.1 On his death his titles became extinct.

     Eleanor Butler is the daughter of Rudolph M. Butler. She married William Cecil James Philip John Paul Howard, 8th Earl of Wicklow, son of Ralph Francis Forward-Howard, 7th Earl of Wicklow and Lady Gladys Mary Hamilton, on 2 September 1959.1
     She was a practising solicitor.2 She held the office of Senator [Ireland] between 1948 and 1951.1 From 2 September 1959, her married name became Howard. After her marriage, Eleanor Butler was styled as Countess of Wicklow on 2 September 1959.
