     Lady Caroline Elizabeth Mary Crichton was the daughter of John Crichton, 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle and Lady Mary Caroline Hervey.1 She married James Archibald Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 1st Baron Wharncliffe of Wortley, son of Hon. James Archibald Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie and Margaret Cunynghame, on 30 March 1799.1 She died on 23 April 1856.1
     From 30 March 1799, her married name became Stuart-Wortley. From 1826, her married name became Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie. After her marriage, Lady Caroline Elizabeth Mary Crichton was styled as Baroness Wharncliffe of Wortley on 12 July 1826.

     John Crichton, 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle was born in 1731.1 He was the son of Abraham Creighton, 1st Baron Erne of Crom Castle and Elizabeth Rogerson.1 He married, firstly, Katherine Howard, daughter of Rt. Rev. Robert Howard and Patience Boleyn, on 25 February 1761.1 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Caroline Hervey, daughter of Rt. Rev. Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth Davers, on 22 February 1776.2 He died on 15 September 1828.1
     He was also known as John Creighton.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lifford between 1761 and 1772.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Erne of Crom Castle, co. Fermanagh [I., 1768] on 10 June 1772.1 He was created 1st Viscount Erne of Crom Castle, co. Fermanagh [Ireland] on 6 January 1781.1 He was created 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle [Ireland] on 19 August 1789.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1804.1

     Lady Mary Caroline Hervey was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth Davers.1 She married John Crichton, 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle, son of Abraham Creighton, 1st Baron Erne of Crom Castle and Elizabeth Rogerson, on 22 February 1776.1 She died on 10 January 1842.1
     After her marriage, Lady Mary Caroline Hervey was styled as Baroness Erne of Crom Castle on 22 February 1776. From 22 February 1776, her married name became Crichton. After her marriage, Lady Mary Caroline Hervey was styled as Viscountess Erne of Crom Castle on 6 January 1781. After her marriage, Lady Mary Caroline Hervey was styled as Countess Erne of Crom Castle on 19 August 1789.

     Katherine Howard was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Robert Howard and Patience Boleyn.1,2 She married John Crichton, 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle, son of Abraham Creighton, 1st Baron Erne of Crom Castle and Elizabeth Rogerson, on 25 February 1761.1 She died on 15 June 1775.
     Her married name became Crichton. After her marriage, Katherine Howard was styled as Baroness Erne of Crom Castle on 10 June 1772.

Rt. Rev. Robert Howard1

     Rt. Rev. Robert Howard was born on 24 September 1683.2 He was the son of Ralph Howard and Katherine Sotheby.3,2 He married Patience Boleyn, daughter of Godfrey Boleyn and Mary Singleton, in 1724.2 He died on 8 April 1740 at age 56.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop of Killala in 1726.2 He held the office of Bishop of Elphin in 1729.1

     Ralph Howard, 1st Viscount Wicklow was the son of Rt. Rev. Robert Howard and Patience Boleyn.1 He married Alice Forward, Countess of Wicklow, daughter of William Forward and Isabella Stewart, on 11 August 1755.1 He died on 26 June 1789.1
     He was appointed Privy Counsellor [Ireland].1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Wicklow.1 He was created 1st Baron Clonmore, of Clonmore Castle, co. Carlow [Ireland] on 21 July 1776.2 He was created 1st Viscount Wicklow, of co. Wicklow [Ireland] on 23 June 1785.2

     John Drummond was baptised on 10 November 1704 at Largo, Fife, Scotland.2 He was the son of Robert Drummond of Lundin and Anne Inglis.1 He died on 9 October 1735 at age 30, unmarried.1

     Anne Inglis was baptised on 20 September 1684 at Cramond, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Sir James Inglis of Cramond, 1st Bt. and Anne Houstoun.1 She married Robert Drummond of Lundin, son of John Drummond, 1st Earl of Melfort and Sophia Maitland, on 5 January 1704 at Largo, Fife, Scotland.1,2
     From 5 January 1704, her married name became Drummond.

     James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan was born on 23 October 1839.1 He was the son of William Henry Drummond, 7th Viscount Strathallan and Christina Maria Hersey Baird.1 He married, firstly, Ellen Thornhill, daughter of Cudbert B. Thornhill, on 11 February 1868.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Smythe, daughter of William Smythe, on 27 October 1875.1 He died on 5 December 1893 at age 54.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Buckinghamshire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Dragoon Guards.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Drummond of Cromlix [S., 1686] on 23 January 1886.1 He succeeded as the 10th Lord Maderty [S., 1609] on 23 January 1886.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Strathallan [S., 1686] on 23 January 1886.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1890 and 1893.1

     Margaret Smythe was the daughter of William Smythe.1 She married James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan, son of William Henry Drummond, 7th Viscount Strathallan and Christina Maria Hersey Baird, on 27 October 1875.2 She died on 5 December 1920.1
     Her married name became Drummond. After her marriage, Margaret Smythe was styled as Viscountess Strathallan on 23 January 1886.
