     Lady Elizabeth Gordon was the daughter of George Gordon, 1st Marquess of Huntly and Lady Henrietta Stuart.1 She married Alexander Livingstone, 2nd Earl of Linlithgow, son of Alexander Livingstone, 1st Earl of Linlithgow and Lady Helen Hay, on 4 May 1611. She died in July 1616.
     Her married name became Livingstone.

     Captain Thomas Nourse Underwood was born on 11 June 1828.2 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Underwood and Mary Elizabeth Harvey.2 He married Elizabeth Frances Lindsay, daughter of Robert Lindsay and Frances Henderson, on 20 January 1864.1 He died in 1899 at Wye House, Worthing, Sussex, England.2
     He was commissioned on 17 February 1849, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 2 July 1851.2 He gained the rank of Commander on 24 November 1862.2 He retired from the military on 24 November 1877, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Navy.1
