     Reverend Robert Francis Molesworth was born on 30 June 1826.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Molesworth and Mary Kearney.2 He married Gertrude Maria Le Normand Gosset, daughter of George Bagot Gosset, on 7 February 1852.1 He died on 8 May 1877 at age 50.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Regiment, Madras Native Infantry.1 He was Rector at Coston, Leicestershire, England.1 He was Rector at St. Mary, March, Cambridgeshire, England.1
