     Teige O'Brien is the son of Conor O'Brien, 2nd Earl of Thomond and Una O'Brien.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Talbot, daughter of Robert Talbot.3 He married, secondly, Slany O'Brien, daughter of Teig O'Brien, before 13 August 1599.3 He married, thirdly, Joan O'Shaughnessy, daughter of Sir Dermot O'Shaughnessy, after 1625.1 He died after 1641.3
     In 1599 he proclaimed himself The O'Brien and Chief of Thomond during the O'Neill Rising, which he joined.3 In 1601 he was pardoned.3 He lived at Dromore, County Down, Ireland.3 He lived at Bohneill, Ireland.3

     Slany MacNamara was the daughter of Suodha MacNamara.1 She married Ulick Bourke, Lord of Clanricarde, son of Ulick Fion Bourke, Lord of Clanricarde and Slany O'Brien.1 She died in 1498.1

     Ulick Bourke, Lord of Clanricarde was the son of Ulick Bourke, Lord of Clanricarde and Slany MacNamara.1 He died in 1520, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the Lord of Clanricarde [feudal barony] in 1509.1
