     William Hugh Holbech was born on 18 August 1882 at Murray Bay, Quebec, Canada.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Walter Henry Holbech and Mary Caroline Walrond.1 He died on 1 November 1914 at age 32 at Royal Herbert Hospital, London, England, from wounds received in action.2 He was buried at St. Botolph's Churchyard, Farnborough, Warwickshire, England.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 Hr played cricket for Warwickshire.2 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion, Scots Guards.1

     Sir Matthew Dudley, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 October 1661. He married Lady Mary O'Brien, daughter of Henry O'Brien, 6th Earl of Thomond and Sarah Russell.1 He died on 14 April 1721 at age 59.
     He lived at Clapton, Northamptonshire, England.1 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Dudley.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1684. He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1703. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northampton between 1703 and 1705. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Huntingdonshire between 1713 and 1715.

     Lady Penelope O'Brien was the daughter of Barnabas O'Brien, 5th Earl of Thomond and Anne Fermor.2 She married Henry Mordaunt, 2nd Earl of Peterborough, son of John Mordaunt, 1st Earl of Peterborough and Elizabeth Howard, in 1644.2 She died in April 1702.3
     She was Groom of the Stole to Mary of Modena.3 From 1644, her married name became Mordaunt. After her marriage, Lady Penelope O'Brien was styled as Countess of Peterborough on 19 June 1644.
