     Captain James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark was born on 26 September 1884. He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Jackson Clark and Mary Elizabeth Lenox-Conyngham.2 He married Marion Caroline Dehra Chichester, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Peel Dawson Spencer Chichester and Dehra Ker Fisher, on 10 May 1922.1 He died on 31 January 1933 at age 48.1
     He was given the name of James Jackson Lenox-Conyngham Clark at birth.3 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915 and bar (1918.)1 In 1922 his name was legally changed to James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark by Deed Poll.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He lived at Largantogher, County Londonderry, IrelandG.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Derry.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Derry.1

     She graduated from Girton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 From 17 May 1952, her married name became Hobhouse.1 She was an author.1 From 1983, her married name became Malins.1 She lived in 2003 at The Coach House, Bettiscombe, Bridport, Dorset, EnglandG.1
