     Captain James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark was born on 26 September 1884. He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Jackson Clark and Mary Elizabeth Lenox-Conyngham.² He married Marion Caroline Dehra Chichester, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Peel Dawson Spencer Chichester and Dehra Ker Fisher, on 10 May 1922.¹ He died on 31 January 1933 at age 48.¹
     He was given the name of James Jackson Lenox-Conyngham Clark at birth.³ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915 and bar (1918.)¹ In 1922 his name was legally changed to James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark by Deed Poll.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He lived at Largantogher, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Derry.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Derry.¹

     Penelope Chichester-Clark was born on 20 November 1929.¹ She is the daughter of Captain James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark and Marion Caroline Dehra Chichester.¹ She married, firstly, Paul Rodbard Hobhouse, son of Sir Arthur Lawrence Hobhouse and Konradin Huth Jackson, on 17 May 1952 at Mendip, Somerset, England^G.^2,3 She and Paul Rodbard Hobhouse were divorced in 1983.¹ She married, secondly, John Melvin Malins in 1983.¹
     She graduated from Girton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 17 May 1952, her married name became Hobhouse.¹ She was an author.¹ From 1983, her married name became Malins.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Coach House, Bettiscombe, Bridport, Dorset, England^G.¹

     unknown daughter Christian was the daughter of Alfred Christian and Frances Emily Hall.¹ She died in 1865, in infancy.¹

     John Melvin Malins married Penelope Chichester-Clark, daughter of Captain James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark and Marion Caroline Dehra Chichester, in 1983.¹ He died in 1992.¹
     He was a professor.¹

     David Paul Hobhouse was born on 9 September 1957.¹ He is the son of Paul Rodbard Hobhouse and Penelope Chichester-Clark.¹

     Lady Dorcas Juliana Fanny Chichester was the daughter of Edward Chichester, 4th Marquess of Donegall and Amelia Spread Deane Grady.¹ She died on 6 March 1890.²

     Lord Arthur Chichester was born on 30 September 1808.¹ He was the son of Sir George Augustus Chichester, 2nd Marquess of Donegall and Anna May.¹ He died on 25 June 1840 at age 31.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Belfast between 1832 and 1834.¹
