     Blanche Mary Aylmer was born on 3 September 1920.1 She was the daughter of Major John Wyndham Aylmer and Edith Margaret Loder.1 She married Christopher Francis Wintour, son of Ulick Fitzgerald Wintour, on 6 May 1944.1 She died in February 1964 at age 43.1
     She served in the Second World War, in the Womens Royal Air Force.1 From 6 May 1944, her married name became Wintour.1
