     Charles Stuart Bayley was born in March 1854 at Florence, Italy^G.¹ He was the son of Daniel Bayley and Isabella Frances Oakes.¹ He married Sarah Constance Campbell, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Archibald Edward Campbell, on 18 December 1880 at Sibsagar, Assam, India^G.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Heidelberg University, Heidelberg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.¹ He was with the Bengal Civil Service in 1875.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1877 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹

     Sarah Constance Campbell is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Archibald Edward Campbell.¹ She married Charles Stuart Bayley, son of Daniel Bayley and Isabella Frances Oakes, on 18 December 1880 at Sibsagar, Assam, India^G.¹
     From 18 December 1880, her married name became Bayley.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Archibald Edward Campbell gained the rank of Major-General in the Indian Staff Corps.¹

     Isabel Constance Bayley was born on 2 November 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Stuart Bayley and Sarah Constance Campbell.¹ She died on 24 June 1882.¹

     Florence Tempe Bayley was born on 26 October 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Stuart Bayley and Sarah Constance Campbell.¹

     Archibald Steuart Butterworth Bayley was born on 8 July 1885.¹ He was the son of Charles Stuart Bayley and Sarah Constance Campbell.¹

     Ethel Hermione Bayley was born on 11 July 1888.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Stuart Bayley and Sarah Constance Campbell.¹

     Alice Mary Bayley was born on 8 November 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Stuart Bayley and Sarah Constance Campbell.¹
