     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Rose Price was born on 2 August 1875.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Caradoc Rose Price and Mary Dennistoun Baillie.2 He married Dorothy Patience Verey, daughter of Sir Henry William Verey, on 29 August 1911.1 He died on 20 October 1949 at age 74.1
     He lived at Madron House, Hythe, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Melbourne College, Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He served in the North West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.1 He gained the rank of in 1903 in the Seistan Boundary Commission.1 He graduated from Staff College, Camberley, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He served at Tibet.1 He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches four times.1 He was Commander of the Welsh Guards.1 He gained the rank of Brevel Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He was General Officer Commanding of the 11th Brigade.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.2 He was Commander of the 142nd Brigade between 1924 and 1928.1 He was the Commandant between 1928 and 1931 at Hythe Wing Small Arms School, Hythe, Kent, England.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1931 in the 5th King Edward's Own Probyn's Horse.1 He served in the Civil Defence during the First World War.1 He was Brigadier of the North London sub-area between 1939 and 1941.1
