     Christopher Nugent, 2nd Baron Delvin was the son of James Nugent and Elizabeth Holywode.1,2 He married Hon. Anne Preston, daughter of Robert Preston, 1st Viscount Gormanston and Janet Molyneux.1 He died in 1478, from plague.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Delvin [I., 1451] in 1473.1 In 1475 he had Parliamentary livery of his lands.1
