     Lt.-Col. Hon. John Crichton was born on 28 June 1772.1 He was the son of John Crichton, 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle and Katherine Howard.1 He married Jane Weldon, daughter of Walter Weldon and Anne Cooke, on 9 December 1797.1 He died on 10 May 1833 at age 60.1
     He held the office of Governor of Hurst Castle.1

Jane Weldon1

     Jane Weldon was born in October 1766.2 She was the daughter of Walter Weldon and Anne Cooke.1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Hon. John Crichton, son of John Crichton, 1st Earl Erne of Crom Castle and Katherine Howard, on 9 December 1797.1 She died circa November 1849.1 She was buried on 30 November 1849.1
     From 9 December 1797, her married name became Crichton.1

Major Hon. Henry Crichton1

     Major Hon. Henry Crichton was born on 1 October 1804.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. John Crichton and Jane Weldon.1 He married Elizabeth Hawkshaw, daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Hawkshaw, on 24 July 1849.1 He died on 23 February 1864 at age 59, without issue.1
     In August 1842 he was granted the rank of an earl's younger son.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 6th Dragoons.1

Elizabeth Hawkshaw1

     From 24 July 1849, her married name became Crichton.1

     From 20 August 1820, her married name became Fowler.1

John Crichton and Jane Weldon, on 20 August 1820.1 He married, secondly, Lady Harriet Eleanor Butler, daughter of James Wandesford Butler, 1st Marquess of Ormonde and Grace Louisa Staples, on 16 May 1831.2 He died on 6 February 1863 at age 65.1

     Rt. Rev. Robert Fowler was born circa 1767.2 He was the son of Most Rev. Robert Fowler and Mildred Dealtry.3 He married Hon. Louisa Gardiner, daughter of Luke Gardiner, 1st Viscount Mountjoy and Elizabeth Montgomery, on 30 January 1796.2 He died on 31 December 1841.2

     Lady Catherine Crichton was born on 5 February 1800.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. John Crichton and Jane Weldon.1 She married Reverend Francis Saunderson on 31 May 1825.1 She died on 14 October 1860 at age 60.1
     From 31 May 1825, her married name became Saunderson.1 In August 1842 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.1
