She married James Bruce, son of Murdoch Bruce and Catherine Polson, on 11 April 1900.3 She died on 21 June 1957 at age 78.2,4 She was buried at Ashburton Public Cemetery, Ashburton, New ZealandG, plot 3247.4
     From 11 April 1900, her married name became Bruce.5 Jane lived with her husband at Ocean View Farm, Buckleys Road, Seafield, Canterbury, New ZealandG, from 11 April 1900 to November 1927.3 Jane lived with her husband at St. Andrews Terrace, Christchurch, New ZealandG, from November 1927 to 1931.3 Jane lived with her husband at Ocean View Farm, Buckleys Road, Seafield, Canterbury, New ZealandG, from 1931 to October 1940.3

     John Lambie was born on 4 May 1840 at Mauchline, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.2,3 He was the son of John Lambie.4 He married, firstly, Mary Crawford in 1863 at New ZealandG.5,6 He married, secondly, Jane Lunt in 1876.7 He died on 7 May 1915 at age 75 at Kyle, Canterbury, New ZealandG.2 He was buried at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Southbridge, Canterbury, New ZealandG, plot 9.2
     John immigrated to Auckland, New ZealandG, on the ship Northern Bride, arriving on 1860.3 He was a labourer for a Mr John Wallace between 1860 and 1863 at Papatoetoe, Auckland, New ZealandG.3 He was a farmer between 1863 and 1864 at Bogside Farm, Doyleston, Canterbury, New ZealandG.3 He held the office of Member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board.8 He was a farmer between 1874 and 1915 at Kyle Farm, Kyle, Canterbury, New ZealandG.7 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [New Zealand]9 He was Councilor and Chairman of the Ashburton County Council between 1882 and 1913 at Ashburton, New ZealandG.8
