     Sir Andrew Ogilvy of Inchmartine is the son of Sir Alexander Ogilvy of Auchterhouse.1 He married Marjorie Glen, daughter of Sir John Glen and Margaret Erskine of Inchmartin.2 He died after 1461.3
     He lived at Inchmartine, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1

He married, secondly, Charlotte Amelia Caroline von Hessen-Philippsthal, daughter of Karl Ludwig Landgraf von Hessen-Philippsthal and Karoline Christine von Sachsen-Eisenach, on 26 September 1750. He died on 27 January 1763 at age 75.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen.

     Lt.-Col. Piers Standish Plowden was born on 24 March 1899.2 He was the son of Roger Herbert Plowden and Minnie Jump.2 He married Ethel Muriel Cynthia Critchley, daughter of Major Edward Ashton Critchley, on 28 June 1928.2 He died on 14 October 1990 at age 91 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.3,4
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of officer in the 17th Lancers.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the High Commissioner to Egypt between 1925 and 1928.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Socts Guards.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1944.2

     Walter Ogilvy of Wester Powry and Auchterhouse was born circa 1330.2 He was the son of Sir Patrick Ogilvy of Wester Powrie and Marjory Ramsay of Auchterhouse.1
     He lived at Wester PowrieG.1 He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Forfar circa 1365, inherited from his uncle, Sir Malcolm Ramsay.1
