     Sir Thomas Dickson Archibald was born on 23 August 1817 at Truro, Nova Scotia, CanadaG.1 He was the son of Samuel George William Archibald and Elizabeth Dickson.1 He married Sarah Smith, daughter of Richard Smith and Elizabeth Fereday, on 20 July 1841.1 He died on 18 October 1875 at age 58 at England.1

     Lt.-Col. James Valentine married Louise Eileen Knox, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Williams Knox and Lady Sibyl Emily Lowther, circa May 1913.1 He died in 1917, killed.1
     He was a pioneer aviator.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.2

     Elizabeth Sandes was the daughter of Lancelot Sandes.2 She married Colonel Richard Croasdaile, son of Henry Croasdaile and Mary Despard, on 10 September 1775.3 She died in 1835.1
     From 10 September 1775, her married name became Croasdaile.
