     Rev. Hon. George Beresford was born on 21 May 1776.¹ He was the son of William Beresford, 1st Baron Decies and Elizabeth FitzGibbon.¹ He married Susan Gorges, daughter of Hamilton Gorges and Anne Howard, on 21 May 1798.¹ He died on 10 August 1842 at age 66.¹

     Susan Gorges was the daughter of Hamilton Gorges and Anne Howard.^1,2 She married Rev. Hon. George Beresford, son of William Beresford, 1st Baron Decies and Elizabeth FitzGibbon, on 21 May 1798.¹
     Her married name became Beresford.

     Hamilton Gorges was born in 1739.¹ He was the son of Richard Gorges and Elizabeth Feilding.¹ He married Anne Howard, daughter of Gorges Edmond Howard.² He died on 14 June 1802.²
     He lived at Kilbrew, County Meath, Ireland^G.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Meath from 1801 to 1802.⁴

     Reverend William Beresford was born on 25 May 1799.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. George Beresford and Susan Gorges.¹ He married Sarah Bull, daughter of John Bull, on 15 May 1830.¹ He died in 1881.¹

     Robert Askwith was baptised on 16 August 1745.¹ He was the son of William Askwith and Ann Atkinson.¹ He died on 9 July 1779 at age 33.¹

Hon. George Beresford and Susan Gorges, on 22 January 1838 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.^1,3 She died on 8 January 1895 at age 76.¹
     From 22 January 1838, her married name became Beresford.

     Isabella Sewell was the daughter of Thomas Bermingham Daly Henry Sewell and Hon. Harriet Beresford.¹ She married General Marcus Beresford, son of Rev. Hon. George Beresford and Susan Gorges, in October 1828.¹ She died in August 1836.¹
