     John Masterson was born circa 1747.1 He was the son of James Masterson and Mary (?)1 He married Sarah Tobin, daughter of James Tobin and Esther (?).1 He died between 27 June 1781 and 2 August 1782.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 2 August 1782.1
     He was a schoolmaster at Loudoun County, Virginia, U.S.A.G.1 His last will was dated 27 June 1781.1
