     Helen Gibson of Pentland was born on 12 May 1775.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Gibson of Pentland, 4th Bt. and Henrietta Watson.3 She was baptised on 29 May 1775 at Corstorphine, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She married, firstly, Dewar Masterton.1 She married, secondly, Captain John Barr.1 She married, thirdly, Maj.-Gen. David Anderson-Gibson.1
     Her married name became Barr.1 Her married name became Anderson-Gibson.1 Her married name became Masterton.

     Sir Robert Gibson of Pentland, 5th Bt. was the son of John Gibson.2 He died in 1796 at AmericaG, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 29 March 1781.1

Alexander Gibson of Durie1

     Alexander Gibson of Durie was the son of Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland and Helen Fleming.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Foulis, daughter of Sir John Foulis of Ravelston, 1st Bt..1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Stewart.2 He died on 1 March 1729.2
     He purchased Durie from Sir John Gibson of Pentland.1

     Caroline Matilda Ward was the daughter of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon.1 She married Hon. Sir Francis John Pakenham, son of Thomas Pakenham, 2nd Earl of Longford and Lady Georgiana Emma Charlotte Lygon, on 29 July 1879.1 She died on 25 June 1938.1
     From 29 July 1879, her married name became Pakenham.1

Sir Francis John Pakenham was born on 29 February 1832.1 He was the son of Thomas Pakenham, 2nd Earl of Longford and Lady Georgiana Emma Charlotte Lygon.1 He married Caroline Matilda Ward, daughter of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon, on 29 July 1879.1 He died on 29 January 1905 at age 72, without issue.1
     He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Sweden and Norway between 1895 and 1901.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1
