     Ellen Forrest Douglas was the daughter of Admiral Peter Douglas.2 She married Robert John Pollock, son of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Frances Rivers, on 6 February 1840.1 She died on 2 November 1846.1
     From 6 February 1840, her married name became Pollock.1

     Robert Erskine Pollock was born on 29 June 1849.1 He was the son of Robert John Pollock and Julia Clements.2 He married Mary Viner, daughter of Captain Frederick Carl Playne Viner, on 11 September 1884.1 He died on 4 January 1915 at age 65.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He held the office of Bencher at the Middle Temple.1 He held the office of Deputy Chairman of the Gloucestershire Quarter Sessions.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He was appointed King's Counsellor (K.C.)1
