     Charles Watkin John Shakerley was born on 15 June 1767.1 He was the son of Charles Buckworth and Elizabeth Shakerley.2 He married Dorothy Moreland, daughter of Jacob Moreland.1 He died on 20 September 1834 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of Charles Watkin John Buckworth at birth.1 In 1788 his name was legally changed to Charles Watkin John Shakerley by Act of Parliament.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1791.1 He lived at Somerford Park, Cheshire, England.1

     Dorothy Moreland was the daughter of Jacob Moreland.2 She married Charles Watkin John Shakerley, son of Charles Buckworth and Elizabeth Shakerley.1 She died in 1820.1

     Sir Charles Peter Shakerley, 1st Bt. was born on 27 December 1792.1 He was the son of Charles Watkin John Shakerley and Dorothy Moreland.2 He married, firstly, Laure Angelique Rosalba d'Avaray, daughter of Duke unknown d'Avaray, on 26 February 1819.1 He married, secondly, Jessie Matilda Scott, daughter of James Scott and Martha Winter, on 20 December 1831.1 He died on 14 September 1857 at age 64.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Shakerley, of Somerford Park, co. Chester [U.K.] on 30 July 1838.1

     From 26 September 1819, her married name became Shakerley.

     Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 March 1833.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Peter Shakerley, 1st Bt. and Jessie Matilda Scott.2 He married Georgiana Harriett Ackers, daughter of George Holland Ackers, on 14 July 1858.1 He died on 20 October 1898 at age 65.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Shakerley, of Somerford Park, co. Chester [U.K., 1838] on 14 September 1857.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1863.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cheshire.1

     Georgiana Harriett Ackers was the daughter of George Holland Ackers.1 She married Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Charles Peter Shakerley, 1st Bt. and Jessie Matilda Scott, on 14 July 1858.1 She died on 16 January 1907.1
     From 14 July 1858, her married name became Shakerley.

Sir Walter Geoffrey Shakerley, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir Walter Geoffrey Shakerley, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 November 1859.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. and Georgiana Harriett Ackers.2 He married Hilda Mary Hodgson, daughter of Henry Hodgson, on 7 January 1885.1 He died on 11 January 1943 at age 83.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1891 in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was commander of the 7th Battalion and 2nd/7th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment between 1891 and 1909.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Shakerley, of Somerford Park, co. Chester [U.K., 1838] on 20 October 1898.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1
