     Elizabeth Bridget Nagle was the daughter of M. Nagle.2 She married Thomas George Shaughnessy, 1st Baron Shaughnessy, son of Thomas Shaughnessy, on 12 January 1880.1 She died on 8 May 1937.1
     From 12 January 1880, her married name became Shaughnessy. After her marriage, Elizabeth Bridget Nagle was styled as Baroness Shaughnessy on 25 January 1916.

William James Shaughnessy, 2nd Baron Shaughnessy1

     William James Shaughnessy, 2nd Baron Shaughnessy was born on 29 September 1883.2 He was the son of Thomas George Shaughnessy, 1st Baron Shaughnessy and Elizabeth Bridget Nagle.2 He married Marion Graham, daughter of Robert Kilgour Graham, on 16 November 1911.2 He died on 4 October 1938 at age 55.3
     He was educated at Bishop's College School, Lennoxville, Quebec, CanadaG.2 He was educated at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He graduated from Laval University, Quebec, CanadaG, with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)2 He was a practising barrister in 1910 at Canada.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Canadian Rangers.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1917 in the 199th Canadian Battalion.2 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) (Canada ) in 1920.2 He was director of Canadian Pacific railway.2 He was director of Canadian Bank of Commerce.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Shaughnessy, of Montreal, Canada and Ashford, co. Limerick [U.K., 1916] on 10 December 1923.2

     Thomas Bradford Shaughnessy was born on 14 January 1915.1 He was the son of Hon. Alfred Thomas Shaughnessy and Sarah Polk Bradford.2 He married Margot Chambers, daughter of William Daney Chambers, on 18 June 1949.1 He died in 1994.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of officer in the Welsh Guards and SAS.1 He graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in 1947 with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)1 He was admitted to Montreal Bar in 1947.2 He was solicitor with Canadian Industries Ltd.2
