     Harriet Townsend was the daughter of Gore Townsend and Lady Elizabeth Windsor.2,3 She married Sir Grey Skipwith, 8th Bt., son of Sir Peyton Skipwith, 7th Bt. and Anne Miller, on 22 April 1801.1 She died on 7 July 1830.1
     From 22 April 1801, her married name became Skipwith.

     Sir Thomas George Skipwith, 9th Bt. was born on 9 February 1803.1 He was the son of Sir Grey Skipwith, 8th Bt. and Harriet Townsend.2 He married, firstly, Emma Hatton, daughter of Thomas Hatton, on 15 July 1840.1 He married, secondly, Jane Moore, daughter of Hubert Butler Moore, on 21 May 1853.1 He died on 30 November 1863 at age 60.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Dragoon Guards.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Skipwith, of Prestwould, co. Leicester [E., 1622] on 13 May 1852.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Warwickshire Militia.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Warwickshire.1 He lived at Newbold Hall, Warwickshire, England.1

     William Skipwith was born on 2 December 1807.1 He was the son of Sir Grey Skipwith, 8th Bt. and Harriet Townsend.2 He married Louisa Gale, daughter of Edward Gregory Morant Gale and Emily Jane Gambier, on 8 September 1843.1 He died on 25 September 1907 at age 99.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 47th Regiment.1
