     Alfred Henry Willink was born on 24 May 1860 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Willink and Sarah Wakefield Cropper.3 He married Beatrice Amy Luard-Selby, daughter of Major Robert Luard-Selby and Lewis Marianne Selby, on 19 April 1885.1 He died on 18 September 1947 at age 87 at Westmoreland, England, without issue.1,2
     He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Westmorland in 1898.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Territorial Forces.1 He held the office of Member of Westmorland County Council.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Westmorland in 1931.1 He lived at Whitefoot, Burneside, Kendal, Westmorland, England.1
