     Her married name became Petre. She lived in 2003 at 10 Camden Road, Eastbourne, Sussex, England.1

     Captain Edward Joseph Algernon Petre was born on 30 July 1911.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic.1 He married, firstly, Diana Perry, daughter of Muriel Perry, on 11 June 1938.1 He married, secondly, Helen Beresford Cornelius, daughter of Richard Cornelius, on 15 September 1948.2 He died on 17 June 1992 at age 80 at Yeovil, Somerset, England.3,1
     He was educated at Oratory School, South Kensington, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch and Essex Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1

     Helen Beresford Cornelius is the daughter of Richard Cornelius.2 She married, firstly, Captain Kenyon Goode.2 She married, secondly, Captain Edward Joseph Algernon Petre, son of Rear-Admiral Walter Reginald Glynn Petre and Agnes Marie Cadic, on 15 September 1948.2 She married, thirdly, Sir Ralph Henry Lawson, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Joseph Lawson, 3rd Bt. and Ursula Mary Howard, on 11 May 1970.2
     Her married name became Goode.2 Helen Beresford Cornelius usually went by her middle name of Beres.2 Her married name became Petre. From 11 May 1970, her married name became Lawson.2

Brian Pratt, on 21 May 1941.1 He died on 11 June 1944 at age 27 at Caen, France, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Essex Regiment.1
