     From 1907, her married name became Close-Brooks.1 From 1915, her married name became Tunnard.1

     Diana Josephine Ward was born in 1921.1 She was the daughter of Sir Albert Lambert Ward, 1st Bt. She married Sir Alexander Cadwallader Mainwaring Spearman, son of Commander Alexander Young Crawshay Spearman and Jessie Aubrey Coker, on 27 April 1951.1 She died on 20 July 2004.1
     From 27 April 1951, her married name became Spearman. She lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Sarratt, Hertfordshire, England.2

     Sir John Elwill, 1st Bt. was born in 1643.2 He was the son of John Elwill and Rebecca Pole.2 He married, firstly, Frances Bampfylde, daughter of Sir John Bamfylde, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Coplestone, in 1676.1 He married, secondly, Anne Lee, daughter of Edmund Lee, on 2 October 1682.2 He died on 25 April 1717.2
     He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bere Alston in 1681.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bere Alston from 1689 to 1690.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bere Alston between 1695 and 1698.2 He was appointed Knight on 28 April 1696.2 He was created 1st Baronet Elwill [Great Britain] on 25 August 1709.
