     From 24 October 1911, her married name became Murphy.1

Mathew Blagden Hale was born on 18 June 1811 at Alderley, Gloucestershire, England.3 He was the son of Robert Hale Blagden Hale and Lady Theodosia Eleanor Bourke.3 He married, firstly, Sophia Clode on 25 February 1840 at Old Church, St. Pancras, London, England.3,4 He married, secondly, Sabina Dunlop Molloy, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Molloy and Georgiana Kennedy, on 30 December 1848 at St. Mary's, Busselton, Western Australia, Australia.3 He died on 3 April 1895 at age 83 at Bristol, England.3
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He was educated at Gloucester School, Gloucestershire, England.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He held the office of Bishop of Western Australia between 1857 and 1875.3 He held the office of Bishop of Brisbane between 1875 and 1885.1
