     William James was born on 24 March 1777.1 He was the son of John James.1 He married Elizabeth Woodhouse, daughter of Joseph Woodhouse, on 9 February 1803.1 He died in 1820.1

     William John James was born on 15 July 1809.2 He was the son of William James and Elizabeth Woodhouse.1 He married Susanna Knight, daughter of James Knight, on 5 August 1845 at St. John the Baptist Church, Coventry, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He died in 1851.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 64th Foot.1
