     Lt.-Col. Charles Edwin Frederick Rich was born on 5 July 1871. He was the son of Reverend John Rich and Clara Sophia Bosworth. He married Violet Cecile Annie St. John, daughter of Admiral Henry Craven St. John and Catherine Dora Rodney, on 31 August 1899.¹ He died on 23 February 1944 at age 72.
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Reverend John Rich was born on 24 May 1828. He was the son of Reverend John Rich and Georgiana Gordon. He married Clara Sophia Bosworth, daughter of Thomas Holmes Bosworth and Sophia de Berchem, on 29 June 1861. He died on 18 March 1913 at age 84.
     He held the office of Rural Dean of Malmesbury between 1861 and 1905.

     Clara Sophia Bosworth was born in 1836.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Holmes Bosworth and Sophia de Berchem.¹ She married Reverend John Rich, son of Reverend John Rich and Georgiana Gordon, on 29 June 1861. She died on 3 October 1911.
     Her married name became Rich.

     Thomas Holmes Bosworth was born in 1797.¹ He married Sophia de Berchem.¹ He died in 1864.¹
     He lived at Westerham, Kent, England^G.

     Reverend John Rich was born on 27 September 1789. He was the son of Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Rich.¹ He married Georgiana Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon, on 3 August 1825. He died on 24 June 1856 at age 66.
     He was the Vicar at Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire, England^G.

     Georgiana Gordon was the daughter of Charles Gordon. She married Reverend John Rich, son of Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Rich, on 3 August 1825. She died in 1889.
     Her married name became Rich.

     Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. married Mary Frances Rich, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Robert Rich, 5th Bt. and Mary Ludlow, on 4 January 1783 at St. john's Church, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He died on 12 September 1824.
     He was given the name of Charles Bostock at birth.¹ In 1790 his name was legally changed to Charles Rich.¹ He gained the title of 1st Baronet Rich on 11 June 1791.

     Eleanor Dora St. John was the daughter of Admiral Henry Craven St. John and Catherine Dora Rodney.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. Arthur Unlacke Stockley, son of Colonel George Watts Stockley, on 3 January 1899.¹ She died on 12 August 1954.¹
     Her married name became Stockley.

     Brig.-Gen. Arthur Unlacke Stockley was the son of Colonel George Watts Stockley.¹ He married Eleanor Dora St. John, daughter of Admiral Henry Craven St. John and Catherine Dora Rodney, on 3 January 1899.¹ He died on 16 October 1939.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Atillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹
