Chantal Hochuli was born on 2 June 1955 at Zürich, Switzerland.1 She is the daughter of Johann Gustav Hochuli and Rosmarie Lembeck.1 She married Ernst August Hanover, Prince of Hanover, son of Ernst August IV Hanover, Prince of Hanover and Ortrud Bertha Adelheid Hedwig Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 28 August 1981 at Pattenson, Niedersachsen, Germany, in a civil marriage.1 She and Ernst August Hanover, Prince of Hanover were divorced on 23 October 1997. Chantal and Ernst August were remarried in a religious ceremony on 30 August 1981 at Schloss Marienburg.
