     Heinrich XXII Prinz Reuss zu Greiz was born on 28 March 1846 at Schleiz, Germany.2 He was the son of Heinrich XX Prinz Reuss zu Greiz and Karoline Prinzessin von Hessen-Homburg.2 He married Ida Mathilde Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe, daughter of Adolf Georg Prinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe and Hermine Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 8 October 1872 at Bückeburg, Niedersachsen, Germany.2 He died on 19 April 1902 at age 56 at Schleiz, Germany.2
     Heinrich XXII Prinz Reuss zu Greiz was a member of the House of Reuss. He gained the title of Prinz Reuss zu Greiz (styled as HSH Prince Reuss zu Greiz).1
