     Heinrich III Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz was born on 27 July 1919.1 He was the son of Heinrich XXXIV Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz and Sophie Renate Prinzessin Reuss zu Köstritz.1 He married Franziska Baronin Mayr von Melnhof, daughter of Franz Baron Mayr von Melnhof and Marie Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst, on 13 March 1944.1 He and Franziska Baronin Mayr von Melnhof were divorced on 13 May 1955 at Leoben, Austria.1 He married Odylia Gräfin zu Castell-Castell, daughter of Konstantin Graf zu Castell-Castell and Luitgardis von Rechteren-Limpurg , Countess von Rechteren-Limpurg, on 5 September 1964.1 He died on 7 June 1993 at age 73.

He is the son of Friedrich Maximilian Prinz zu Ysenburg-Büdingen und Wachtersbach and Margarete Gräfin von Dinoff. He married Felicitas Anna Eleonore Cecilie Prinzessin Reuss zu Köstritz, daughter of Heinrich XXXIV Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz and Sophie Renate Prinzessin Reuss zu Köstritz, on 3 September 1935 at Stonsdorf. He died in September 1990.
     Otto Friedrich III Fürst zu Ysenburg und Büdingen gained the title of 3rd Fürst zu Ysenburg und Büdingen.1 He was baptised with the name of Otto Friedrich Viktor Ferdinand Maximilian Gustav Richard Bogislav.2
