     Hermann Adolf Fürst zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich was born on 15 April 1838.2 He was the son of Ferdinand prinz zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich and Karoline Gräfin von Collalto und San Salvatore.2 He married Agnes Gräfin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, daughter of Wilhelm Graf zu Stolberg-Wernigerode and Elisabeth Gräfin zu Stolberg-Rossla, on 20 June 1865.3 He died on 16 September 1899 at age 61.2
     He gained the title of 5th Fürst zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich in 1880.1

     Isabella Gamble Ross was the daughter of William Adolphus Ross.2 She married Auckland Campbell Geddes, 1st Baron Geddes, son of Auckland Campbell Geddes and Christina Helen McLeod Anderson, on 8 September 1906.1 She died on 8 January 1962.1
     From 8 September 1906, her married name became Geddes. After her marriage, Isabella Gamble Ross was styled as Baroness Geddes on 28 January 1942.
