Sir Henry Liddell, 1st and last Baron Ravensworth of Ravensworth Castle was born in 1708. He was the son of Thomas Liddell and Jane Clavering. He married Anne Delmé, daughter of Sir Peter Delmé, on 27 April 1735. He died on 30 January 1784, without male issue.1

Sir Charles Augustus FitzRoy was born on 10 June 1796. He was the son of General Lord Charles FitzRoy and Frances Mundy.1 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Lennox, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon, on 11 March 1820.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Gordon on 11 December 1855. He died on 16 February 1858 at age 61.
Sir Charles Augustus FitzRoy gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.3 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.3 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).2 He held the office of Governor of New South Wales between 1846 and 1855.1

Sir George Fletcher, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1633.1 He is the son of Sir Henry Fletcher, 1st Bt. and Catharine Dalston.1 He married, firstly, Alice Hare, daughter of Hugh Hare, 1st Baron Coleraine and Lucy Montagu, on 27 February 1654/55 at Totteridge, Hertfordshire, England.1 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Johnstone, daughter of James Johnstone, 1st Earl of Hartfell and Margaret Douglas, before 1665.1 He died on 23 July 1700.1
