Hon. Anne Liddell was born circa 1738. She was the daughter of Henry Liddell, 1st and last Baron Ravensworth of Ravensworth Castle and Anne Delmé.1 She married, firstly, Augustus Henry Fitzroy, 3rd Duke of Grafton, son of Captain Lord Augustus Fitzroy and Elizabeth Cosby, on 29 January 1756 at London, England.1 She and Augustus Henry Fitzroy, 3rd Duke of Grafton were divorced on 23 March 1769.1 She married, secondly, John FitzPatrick, 2nd Earl of Upper Ossory, son of John FitzPatrick, 1st Earl of Upper Ossory and Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower, on 26 March 1769. She died on 24 February 1804.1
From 29 January 1756, her married name became Fitzroy. As a result of her marriage, Hon. Anne Liddell was styled as Duchess of Grafton on 6 May 1757. From 26 March 1769, her married name became FitzPatrick.
