John Comyn of Badenoch1

     John Comyn of Badenoch was the son of John 'the Red' Comyn.2 He married Margaret Wake, Baroness Wake, daughter of John Wake, 1st Lord Wake and Joan de Fiennes.3 He died on 24 June 1314 at Bannockburn, Stirlingshire, Scotland, killed in action.2
     He gained the title of Lord of Badenoch [feudal barony].1 He fought in the Battle of Bannockburn on 24 June 1314 at Bannockburn, Stirlingshire, Scotland.2

     Elisabeth von Jülich was the daughter of Wilhelm V Markgraf von Jülich and Jeanne de Hainaut.1 She married, firstly, John Plantagenet, 3rd Earl of Kent, son of Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent and Margaret Wake, Baroness Wake, circa 3 April 1348.2 She married, secondly, Sir Eustace d'Aubrécicourt on 29 September 1360 at Wingham Church, Wingham, Kent, England.1 She died on 6 June 1411.1 She was buried at Church of the Greyfriars, Winchester, Hampshire, England.
     She was also known as Elizabeth de Juliers.2 She was a nun after 1372 at Waverley Abbey, Surrey, England.1

     Wilhelm V Markgraf von Jülich was born circa 1299.2 He was the son of Gerhard V Graf von Jülich Graf von Bergheim and Elizabeth de Brabant.2 He married Jeanne de Hainaut, daughter of Guillaume V (III), Comte de Hainaut, Hollande et Zélande and Jeanne de Valois, in 1313.2 He died in February 1361.2
     He was also known as William of Juliers.2 He was also known as Willem, Duke de Juliers.3 He was created Prince of the Empire on 21 August 1336.2 He was created Markgraf von Jülich on 21 August 1336.1 He was created Marquis of Juliers on 21 August 1336.2 He was created 1st Earl of Cambridge [England] on 7 May 1340, by King Edward III.2
