     Gerhard VI Herzog von Jülich was the son of Wilhelm V Markgraf von Jülich and Jeanne de Hainaut. He married Margaret von Ravensberg, daughter of Otto IV Graf von Ravensberg and Margaret von Berg, in 1338. He died on 18 May 1360.
     Gerhard VI Herzog von Jülich gained the title of Graf von Ravensburg. He gained the title of Graf von Berg. He gained the title of Herzog von Jülich.

     Margaret von Ravensberg was the daughter of Otto IV Graf von Ravensberg and Margaret von Berg. She married Gerhard VI Herzog von Jülich, son of Wilhelm V Markgraf von Jülich and Jeanne de Hainaut, in 1338. She died on 18 March 1384. She was also reported to have died on 19 February 1389.
