     Ida Caroline Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont was born in 1796 at Rhoden, Waldeck, GermanyG. She was the daughter of Georg I Prinz zu Waldeck und Pyrmont and Auguste Prinzessin zu Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. She married Georg I Wilhelm Prinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe, son of Philipp II Ernst Graf zu Schaumburg-Lippe and Juliane Prinzessin von Hessen-Philippsthal.1 She died in 1869.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont.
