     Lady Sarah Douglas was born between 1554 and 1585. She was the daughter of William Douglas, 9th Earl of Angus and Egidia Graham.1 She married, firstly, Robert Strachan on 5 April 1586.1 She married, secondly, George Auchinleck of Balmanno after 1587.1
     From 5 April 1586, her married name became Strachan.1 From after 1587, her married name became Auchinleck.1
