Reverend Sir Robert Acland-Hood, 3rd Bt. was born on 7 September 1865. He was the son of Sir Alexander Bateman Periam Fuller-Acland-Hood, Bt.. He married Lady Helen Augusta Charlotte Constance Sidney Hamilton, daughter of Captain Charles Henry Hamilton and Elizabeth Anne Hill, on 1 June 1899.1 He died on 23 April 1912 at age 46.1
