     Jane Helen Shute was born in 1787 at Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Shute and Henrietta Anna Margarette Gwyn.1 She married Venerable Justly Hill, son of Lt.-Col. William Hill and Elizabeth Popham, in 1820.1 She died in 1858 at Bonchurch, Isle of Wight, England.1
      From 1820, her married name became Hill.1
