W/Cdr. Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton was born on 12 November 1909.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Alfred Douglas Douglas-Hamilton, 13th Duke of Hamilton and Nina Mary Benita Poore.1 He married, firstly, Clodagh Pamela Bowes-Lyon, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Malcom Bowes-Lyon and Winifred Gurdon-Rebow, on 18 April 1931.1 He and Clodagh Pamela Bowes-Lyon were divorced in 1952.1 He married, secondly, Natalie Wales, daughter of Major Nathaniel Brackett Wales, on 4 January 1953.1 He died on 21 July 1964 at age 54, killed in an air-crash.1
