     Ferdinand Erzherzog von Österreich was born on 6 December 1918 at Vienna, Austria.1 He is the son of Maximilian Erzherzog von Österreich and Franziska Maria Anna Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst.1 He married Helene Marina Elisabeth Gräfin zu Törring-Jettenbach, daughter of Karl Theodor Graf zu Törring-Jettenbach and Elisabeth zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Greece and Denmark, on 6 April 1956 at Schloss Seefeld, Munich, Bavaria, Germany, in a civil marriage.1 Ferdinand and Helene Marina Elisabeth were also married in a religious ceremony on 10 April 1956 at Seefeld am Pilsensee, Bayern, Germany.1
