     Johann I Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg was born in 1535.1 He was the son of Wilhelm Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg and Juliane zu Stolberg-Wernigerode.1 He married, firstly, Elisabeth de Beauharnais, daughter of Georg Landgraf von Leuchtenberg, in 1559.1 He married, secondly, Joan von Sayn-Wittgenstein, daughter of Ludwig I Graf von Sayn-Wittgenstein and Anne zu Solms-Braunfels, in 1586.1 He died in 1606.1
     Johann I Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg gained the title of Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg.1

     Elisabeth de Beauharnais was the daughter of Georg Landgraf von Leuchtenberg.1 She married Johann I Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg, son of Wilhelm Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg and Juliane zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, in 1559.1 She died in 1579.1

     Georg Landgraf von Leuchtenberg married Barbara von Hohenzollern, daughter of Friedrich V Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach and Zofia Jagellon, Królewna Polska, in 1528.
     Georg Landgraf von Leuchtenberg was also known as Georg de Beauharnais. He gained the title of Landgraf von Leuchtenberg.1

     Joan von Sayn-Wittgenstein was born in 1561.1 She was the daughter of Ludwig I Graf von Sayn-Wittgenstein and Anne zu Solms-Braunfels.1,2 She married Johann I Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg, son of Wilhelm Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg and Juliane zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, in 1586.1 She died in 1622.1
     From 1586, her married name became von Nassau-Dillenburg.1

     Wilhelm Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg was born on 10 April 1487 at Dillenburg, Germany.2 He was the son of Johann V Graf von Nassau-Vianden-Dietz and Elisabeth von Hessen.1 He married, firstly, Walpurgis van Egmont, daughter of Jan I van Egmont, Graaf van Egmont, in 1516.1 He married, secondly, Juliane zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, daughter of Bodo III Graf zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, on 20 September 1531.1 He died on 6 October 1559 at age 72.
     Wilhelm Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg gained the title of Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg.

She was the daughter of Bodo III Graf zu Stolberg-Wernigerode.1 She married Wilhelm Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg, son of Johann V Graf von Nassau-Vianden-Dietz and Elisabeth von Hessen, on 20 September 1531.1 She died on 18 June 1580 at age 74.
