     Sir Robert King, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Robert King and Frances Folliott.1 He married Frances Gore, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Gore and Mary Blayney, circa 1670.1,3 He died on 1 March 1707.1
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ballyshannon between 1661 and 1666.1 He was created 1st Baronet King, of Boyle Abbey, co. Roscommon [Ireland] on 27 September 1682.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Roscommon between 1692 and 1699.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland].1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boyle between 1703 and 1707.1 He lived at Rockingham, County Roscommon, Ireland.1

     Sir John King, 2nd Bt. was born before 1681. He was the son of Sir Robert King, 1st Bt. and Frances Gore.1 He married Elizabeth Sankey, daughter of John Sankey and Eleanor Morgan.2 He died on 19 March 1720, without issue.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boyle in 1695.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boyle in 1703.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet King, of Boyle Abbey, co. Roscommon [I., 1682] on 1 March 1707.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boyle in 1713.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Roscommon between 1715 and 1720.1
