     George Bellamy Christian was born on 4 April 1830.2 He is the son of Ewan Christian and Alletta Hendrina Schultz.1 He married, firstly, Alice Owen Smith, daughter of John Owen Smith.3 He married, secondly, Agnes Edmonds, daughter of Reverend Richard Pell Edmonds, in January 1881.3 He died on 24 June 1905 at age 75.2
