     Patrick Russell of Moncoffer was born in 1630.1 He was the son of Alexander Russel.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Sharpe, daughter of unknown Sharpe, circa 1667.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Campbell, daughter of Sir Colin Campbell, 2nd Bt., on 24 February 1696.1 He died in November 1713.1
     Patrick Russell of Moncoffer was also known as Patrick Russell of Banff.1 He was also known as Alexander Russell.2 He lived at Moncoffer, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1
