     Alexander Russell of Aden was the son of Alexander Russell on Moncoffer, Banff and Aden and Eliza Innes.1 He married Margaret Cumming, daughter of James Cumming and May Ferguson, in 1792.1 He died in January 1829.1
     
     He also had an elder son, four younger sons and two daughters.1

     Margaret Cumming was the daughter of James Cumming and May Ferguson.1 She married Alexander Russell of Aden, son of Alexander Russell on Moncoffer, Banff and Aden and Eliza Innes, in 1792.1 She died in February 1841.1
     From 1792, her married name became Russell.1
