     Catherine Skene was the daughter of Alexander Skene of that Ilk.1 She married Alexander Russell of Moncoffer, son of Patrick Russell of Moncoffer and Catherine Campbell, on 18 June 1718.1
     From 18 June 1718, her married name became Russell.1

     Alexander Russell on Moncoffer, Banff and Aden was born in 1723.1 He was the son of Alexander Russell of Moncoffer and Catherine Skene.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Hay, daughter of Charles Hay and Helen Fraser, in 1748.1 He married, secondly, Eliza Innes, daughter of Alexander Innes, in April 1767.1 He died in 1798.1
     In 1752 he sold Moncoffer to his cousin, William, Earl of Fife.1 In 1758 he bought Aden, Aberdeenshire.1 He matriculated on 5 February 1768 arms at L.O.1

     Charles Hay was born in 1688.2 He was the son of James Hay and Margaret Gordon.2 He married Helen Fraser, daughter of Andrew Fraser and Mary Duff.3 He died in 1751.2
