     David Agnew was born on 17 July 1743.1 He was the son of Captain James Agnew and Rebecca Scott.1 He married Mary Erwin, daughter of John Erwin.1 He died on 17 January 1799 at age 55.2

     John Park Agnew was born on 25 December 1819 at Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A..1 He was the son of John Agnew and Elizabeth Park.1 He was also reported to have been born on 25 December 1820.1 He married Matilda Elizabeth Thomas, daughter of John Lewis Thomas.1 He died on 7 June 1892 at age 72.1
     John Park Agnew lived at Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.A..1 He had two other sons and four daughter, who died young.1
